Hows its so shiny?

So for this blog Pat told me to find out what was in metallic paint to make it shiny? So after some research I found out that there are tiny bits of actual metal in the paint and the light reflects of the metal surfaces that gives it that shiny.

In ths picture the brand Gatorade uses colors based on flavor, like this is a light blue for the flavor frost. Because when you think of frost you think of the cold so the company uses a cool color, blue. The lighting bolt is orange, a warm color, representing power in this case. Which Gatorade is an energy drink so power representing energy.

The use of yellows or other warm colors, red and orange, is a bright color that draws attention so it is recongize in society as hazards. For example red is used for stop signs to draw attention to the sign because of the drastic change of color and contrast against the surroundings. Orange is used for construction, to be aware of workers and road pattern changes. In this picture the yellow is used to show caution to the driver that there is cement to hold the pole, therefore the driver can see this easily and not hit the pole.
